Doug is the owner and President of HRI. He started his insurance career at HRI in 1982.
Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Old Dominion University. He is a tenured Certified Insurance Counselor, having earned that designation in 1987. Additionally, he is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Fairfax.
Doug has been very active in the local community serving in leadership positions for a number of non-profit organizations. He founded the very popular Friday Night Live summer concert series in Herndon and has run that program since its inception in 1995.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, exercising, traveling and spending time with his family.
